Full-Time Companion for Senior with Diabetes

My dad, who is 78 and managing diabetes, needs some extra support during the week. We're looking for a reliable caregiver who can start immediately, working full-time from Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The main things I need help with are providing companionship and occasional transportation to appointments. It would be great if you're patient and a good listener, as he enjoys having someone to chat with. If you have some experience with diabetes care, that would be a plus.
